Terms of Service

Effective date · 2026

These terms govern your purchase and use of the BackendAssembly starter kit (the "Product"). By purchasing, accessing, or using the Product, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, don't buy or use it.

1 · License grant

When you complete a purchase, BackendAssembly grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to:

You may not:

The license is granted to a single individual or company. To purchase for a team, contact us about team licensing.

2 · Payment terms

BackendAssembly accepts payment exclusively in USDC cryptocurrency on supported networks. Prices are listed in USD and converted to the equivalent USDC amount at checkout.

All sales are final. Because USDC payments are settled on-chain and are irreversible by design, we cannot offer refunds, chargebacks, or reversals after a transaction confirms. If you send funds to the wrong address, or to an address you mistype, we cannot recover them.

Before completing a purchase, please verify (a) the destination address shown at checkout matches our published address, (b) you are sending USDC on the correct network, and (c) the amount is correct.

3 · Delivery

After your payment is confirmed on-chain, we deliver the Product by:

Delivery is typically within minutes of payment confirmation. If you don't receive access within 24 hours, reply to the receipt email and we'll resolve it manually.

4 · Intellectual property

What you own: any modifications, extensions, configurations, business logic, branding, content, and applications you build using the Product. These are entirely yours.

What BackendAssembly owns: the original Product source code, architecture, documentation, branding, and the BackendAssembly trademarks. Your license to use the original code is governed by Section 1; underlying ownership remains with BackendAssembly.

5 · Disclaimer of warranty

The Product is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, security, or non-infringement. You are responsible for testing the Product before using it in production and for the security of any applications you build with it.

6 · Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BackendAssembly's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these terms and your use of the Product is limited to the amount you actually paid for the Product in USD-equivalent. In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7 · Termination

If you materially breach these terms — for example, by reselling the Product — your license terminates automatically. We may also revoke GitHub access in such cases. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

8 · Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to existing license holders. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones in effect on the date you bought the Product.
